Paws & Whiskers is a practical guide for people who live with French Bulldogs and Siberian cats — written for real owners, not vets or professional trainers.
We answer the questions owners actually ask: why your Frenchie barks at nothing, what they can and cannot eat, whether a Siberian’s coat really causes allergies, how much either pet really costs to own, and how to keep a flat-faced dog healthy and comfortable.
How the guides are written
Every article starts from a real question owners are searching for, and is researched with the breed’s specific quirks in mind — brachycephalic breathing, food sensitivities, skin fold care and intense bonding in Frenchies; dense triple coats, slow maturation and breed-specific heart and joint screening in Siberians. Facts are checked against established veterinary guidance rather than repeated from other blogs, and we do not invent studies or statistics: if a number matters, it gets verified.
We are not a veterinary service. When a topic needs professional advice, we say so — clearly and specifically, including the signs that mean “call your vet today”.
Our goal is simple: honest, breed-specific answers you can actually use.
